Each heart teaspoon is hand crafted from polished, solid lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely nickel-free and food safe. Our 95% tin Pewter is the fourth most expensive metal in common use after platinum, gold and silver. Because our designs are all created in solid metal, the surface of your heart teaspoon will never flake like a silver plated spoon. To clean, simply wash with warm soapy water. All Glover and Smith designs are exclusively handmade in our own workshops in Salisbury, Wiltshire UK.
